THE WORK THAT SHAPED ME

13 years at
The Cable Center/Syndeo Institute
changed everything.

In 2009 I walked into The Cable Center/Syndeo Institute in Denver and they asked if I could learn ColdFusion.

I said yes. I built their entire main website from scratch that year and stayed for 13 years as their lead web and digital person.

I quietly rescued their entire video archive

after a server hack. Those backups became the only clean copies of irreplaceable oral histories and Hall of Fame programs.

I reverse-engineered broken 2007 Flash kiosks

so visitors could still interact with exhibits, and I still bring that same archival content back online today using modern safe techniques.

I led the creation of a full VR recreation

of the entire building in Unity. You can still walk through it on a Meta Quest or via Steam, picking up artifacts and stepping into 360° video.

View the VR Archive on Steam

All of that taught me one thing:

The best digital experiences aren’t about the latest trend.
They’re about respecting the story and building something that lasts.

TODAY

30+ years of craft.
AI superpowers.

I still do everything I always did (strategic thinking, beautiful design, technical problem-solving and deep respect for your mission), except now I deliver it dramatically faster and more affordably using Grok and Claude as creative partners.
Same obsessive quality. Same personal attention. Much better economics for organizations that need it.

WHAT I BRING

A rare combination of craft and speed.

Deep Technical Range

From ColdFusion and Flash rescue to modern static sites, easy-to-edit content tools, and AI-assisted workflows. I can work with whatever platform actually serves your organization best.

Mission-First Thinking

I don’t just build websites. I help organizations tell stories that deserve to last. Museums and nonprofits have been my focus because their work matters more than most.

AI-Accelerated Delivery

I use Grok and Claude daily as creative partners. This means faster concepts, sharper copy, better visuals, and lower costs for you without sacrificing quality or personal attention.

Mike Bollig: Songs Brought Home

A music website for a Colorado singer-songwriter.

Mike Bollig wrote and recorded his original songs himself on cassette and sent them to me as MP3s. I reworked those recordings into finished releases, designed the cover art, made the music videos, and built his website, mikebollig.com, so people can press play and listen.

Nomad Pet Dental

Website, logo and online booking for a mobile pet dentist in Denver.

Dr. Cooper Wahl brings dental care for cats and dogs to your door in one truck. I built the logo, the site and booking right on the page, plus an FAQ and a service-areas page so local searches find him.
